HOUSTON – August 25, 2023 – PRLog — Kashif Aftab, founder, and CEO of SkillGigs, Inc., has been named to Houston Business Journal’s 2023 Most Admired CEOs list. SkillGigs, an e-commerce talent marketplace that pairs skilled healthcare and technology job seekers with AI-matched work opportunities, is headquartered in Houston. A panel of judges selected the 49 awardees based on civic engagement, contributions to the company, and career achievement.
Aftab will be recognized with an award on-stage at HBJ’s Most Admired CEO Awards Luncheon. In conjunction with the award ceremony, HBJ will publish a special section that will be included in the August 25th edition of the print publication.

Aftab leads all product design, innovation, engineering, and business growth of the SkillGigs Talent Marketplace. A pioneer in the area of e-commerce-style digital marketplaces, he also is the inventor of the 3D Resume, a patented AI and ML resume technology that is utilized in the SkillGigs Talent Marketplace platform.
In addition to his business achievements, Aftab is a dedicated philanthropist deeply involved in the Houston community. He founded the Hajra Begum and the Justice Waheeduddin Ahmed Meal Program at Amanaah Refugee Services in Houston. In 2022, the program provided 101 families with food assistance. He is also a supporter of the Houston Food Bank and a Charter Member of OPEN Houston.
